| Goldie Pearl Hockenberry, 97, of Second Street, NuMine, Cowanshannock Township, died at 5:20 p.m. Friday, May 15, 1998 at her home. The daughter of Elmer and Rose Sowers Rearick, she was born Aug. 10, 1900, in Cowanshannock Township. Surviving are four sons and three daughters ... 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond Hockenberry, on Oct. 13, 1980; one son, Dale Hockenberry; three brothers and one sister: Ralph, Harold, Homer and Bertha Quinn. ... Interment will be in Rural Valley Cemetery.  |
