| L. Melba Calhoun, 74, of 342 Edgewood Drive, Columbiana, Ohio, died Friday, March 25, 1994 at Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born Feb. 15, 1920 in Cowanshannock township to Edward and Bertha C. (Southworth) Schrecengost and had lived in the Columbiana area since 1961 ... Survivors include her husband, Samuel L. Calhoun whom she married Sept. 30, 1936; two sons, Donald S. of Worthington and Lee R. of Diamond, Ohio; a daughter, M. Jean Williams of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. David (L. Malvetta) Cornman of Home; a brother, A. Orien Schrecengost of Kittanning; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, L. June Calhoun; three sisters; and three brothers ... Burial will take place in the Salem United church of Christ Cemetery.  |
