| Lydia Alice Peters of Rural Valley, wife of H.O. Peters, died in Armstrong Memorial Hospital Saturday, May 22, at 7 p.m. after an eight-day illness. Born in Cowanshannock Township January 23, 1886, daughter of Z.E. and Lydia Moore Jewart, she had lived inthe Rural Valley area her entire life ... In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Mildred Rearick of Rural Valley, Mrs. Leota Whiteman of Rural Valley, and Mrs. Cleora Schrecongost of Wantaugh, New York; also by five grandchildren and one brother, R.M. Jewart of Blasdell, N.Y. ... Burial will be in Rural Valley Cemetery.  |
