Chobody and Kormos Families Album

Generation 2. Joseph Chobody (1882-1930).

Joseph was born in Hungary and immigrated to the United States in April, 1912. In October of the same year, his wife Elizabeth (Zubricki) Chobody (1888-1972) immigrated as well, accompanied by their two sons:

• Alexander (1907-1994), who married Anne Makrancy, and
• Joseph J. (1909-1984), who married Anna Lucille Kormos.

They had three more children while living in Yatesboro:

• Elizabeth A. (1914-1993), who married Peter A. Gottardi
• Ellen Marie (1918-2000), who married Frank Robert Pavlik, and
• Margaret F. (1928-1991), who married Joseph A. Berrie.
