The home of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Pryde was the scene of a pretty wedding last Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. when their daughter Gertrude became the bride of James C. McLachlan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McLachlan.
They were attended by Miss Margaret McLachlan sister of the groom and Albert Pryde brother of the bride.
The bride wore a traveling suit of navy blue taffeta with a white hat. Her corsage bouquet was pink and white roses. After the ceremony breakfast was served to the immediate families.
They went to Echo by auto where they took the 11:37 train north on their honeymoon trip.
They will take up house keeping when they return.
The ADVANCE joins with their many friends in wishing them good luck and lots of happiness over the matrimonial sea.
